PLAN A VISIT

PLAN A VISIT

Our goal is to make the logistics of your visit as effortless as possible. We understand our clients have busy schedules and are often traveling from out of state. Our patient advocates and schedulers will work with you to help you plan your visit and make it as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

We find the process is more productive when clients are proactively involved and invested in their plans and treatments. Here are some things to consider prior to your visit

REFERENCE PHOTOS

Any additional reference photos of yourself from when you feel you looked your best, or of your parents, will provide valuable context and help us determine what has changed and what may change in the future.

ALLOW TIME FOR YOUR VISITS

Due to the intimate size of our staff, the bespoke nature of our appointments and the personalized level of detail we give each client, please allow extra time for your visits to accommodate for minor in-office delays that may occur. Additionally, due to our high level of demand, we encourage you to work with your patient advocate team to schedule future treatments as soon as possible.

15 min grace period
We know life happens but in order to ensure that all clients can have their allocated treatment time we ask that you come on time to appointments. After 15 min we will kindly ask you to reschedule so that we can ensure the best outcomes and not rush our treatments.

Treatment times for patients
We do our best to schedule our providers so everyone can have the treatments they need at their visits. We kindly ask that if you are going to change your treatment plan that you notify us 72 hours in advance so that we can do our best to create enough appointment time for everyone.

PRE TREATMENT CARE

We recommend all clients follow these steps prior to treatment in order to avoid bruising.

Avoid: Aspirin, ibuprofen, caffeine, vitamin E, fish oil, alcohol, wine, blood thinners (with permission of your doctor), ginseng, and gingko biloba for 1-2 weeks prior

Start
Oral Arnica Pellets to prevent bruising (sold in health stores): By mouth 2-3 days prior as directed

Vitamin K 200mcg*: Found in dark green, leafy vegetables. Deficiency could cause bruising (start 2 wks prior)

Vitamin C 200mg*: Vitamin C is essential for synthesis of collagen and other compounds that affect the skin and blood vessel’s ability to withstand the impacts that lead to bruises. Deficiency could cause bruising.

2 weeks prior
Bromelain 200-400mg*: Pineapple enzyme that speeds healing by helping the body clear metabolic wastes from injuries. 3x/day on an empty stomach (at least 90 minutes before or 3 hours after eating) start 7-10 days prior

CANCELLATION & MISSED APPOINTMENT

Your appointments are very important to all members of our team at GoodSkin. We do not have a double-booking system, so the appointment time is reserved only for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 72 hours’ notice for adjustments to your appointments and for cancellations. All our policies are designed to benefit our guests and to provide the best quality and tradition of excellent service for our established and future clientele. ‘No call, no show’ or notice which is less than 72 hours in advance, may result in a non-refundable charge per hour of scheduled appointment time. Cancelling or missing two or more appointments may be grounds to require a deposit in order to make any future appointments.
